I woke up to my Lucas running down the steps to hand me my presents. Two beautiful cards he made and Papa gave me a beautiful gold bracelet that is just perfect. I could definitely use a gold everyday bracelet like this one.
We called Grandma right away to call them and wish Mom a Happy Mother's Day. She said she'll be over later to give us the key to the house because they are leaving in a couple days to get everything organized in Madison. I think we'll stop by instead to give her my present I made for her.
Papa went and mowed at least the front yard...the backyard really doesn't need it...so while he was doing that I thought I would make a call.
I called Lindo O (or Armas) I should say, because I just wanted to connect with a Happy Mother's Day and also see if she new anything about Linda from Andy. Didn't find out much..but had a wonderful conversation with my old friend.
When I got off the phone went right to my computer and what a wonderful surprise.
Alyssa wrote on your Wall:"Happy Mother's Day Momma! I hope it's just great! I'll talk to you later tonight :)Love you so much. Miss you!"To see your wall or to write on Alyssa's Wall, follow the link below:http://www.facebook.com/n/?profile.php&id=542537605#wall
And then I'm writing this to have Lindsay text me and wish me a Happy Mother's Day. I'm feeling so loved....
We ran around today, Grandma & Grandpa's to give her her Mother's Day present. I hoped she liked them..I really couldnt tell. We then ran to Barnes & Noble and got the usual Chai Tea Latte. The boys found their books, but believe it or not they were out of Barbara Walters book.
We ran to Target and Michael's. Found some really cool butterflies, but was really looking for brown ribbon. It's the "in" color so couldn't find brown satin ribbon. Probably HL has it...could check tomorrow We'll see how ambitious I am.
It was great when we got home Papa made his popular BBQ. Talking to Lindsay and she was soooooooo jealous. Alyssa called me...O-M-G....I haven't talked to her in such a long time. Felt like I was just full of emotions. I think she really understands why I'm so emotional. She's dealing with her dad the best she can. I feel bad her and Jacob are having a rough time, but she needs to take care of herself. Are you listening to that Sheila...YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!
Well...I'll have to say, I had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Good night ya'll
