Well, today was the beginning of Dad's cancer treatment. The first step is to begin hormone therapy. Lucas joked with Grandpa and said "at least you don't have a lot of muscle in your butt". That sure made Grandpa laugh. Unfortunately, they placed the shot right on his hip. It felt good to be there for them. They've involved me completely in all the steps. Yesterday, we talked to the Oncologist and they wanted me in the room with them. This great doctor talked to us for 2 complete hours. I am truly blessed to have such great in-laws.
On a lighter note, and so happy to say, I have reached 10,000 points at Tallyscrapper. I have to really thank cooriginals for bringing me to 10,000. It's hard to believe I actually have done enough scrapping, altering, and cards to receive all these points. I have to thank Shannon for introducing me to the greatest scrapbook webpage.
Well, it's Wednesday, and of course, I'm watching Big Brother which will be ending real soon because we're are officially down to Ryan and Adam. I'm hoping Ryan wins. Also watching American Idol...I think this is a no-brainer tonight, Brooke White. She really messed up last night.
Tomorrow, I look forward to actually getting together with Shannon to learn a few more techniques. She's amazing, full of ideas, and lots of fun. Will share what I've learned very soon.
